Can you give me a step by step fix please? I'd really appreciate it. If you’re on Apple Silicon and it complains about corrupted files, open Terminal.app and run this: xattr -r -d /Applications/Inkscape.After double clicking the inkscape icon in Finder I get the following from the console.

But once you get the app running you can just open the app the usual way from then on.

You might have to do this more than once.

Open the DMG and drag the app to your Applications folder.

I think I used the 13.0 SDK for Apple Silicon and 13.1 SDK for Intel.

I built them on macOS Ventura 13.2.1, once on Apple Silicon and once on Intel.

During compilation, GTK 3.24.36 was downloaded and used automatically, I think.

I used GTK3 3.24.36 which should have the fix for the Ventura bug.

Same exact features as existing 1.2.2 versions.

If you’ve updated macOS to Ventura and find that mouse clicks in Inkscape 1.2.2 don’t work the way they should, I’ve made some unofficial DMG disk images that (hopefully) fix that bug:
